Technical proposal

Stunt Prop/Prosthetic make up

What is the effect

The effect of using prosthetic makeup is to give audience a realistic example of a cut or a deep wound which gives the performance a realistic aspect to it, it also allows the audience to get closer to the cut and see all the detail in the cut and see really how deep it is.

Why is it needed?
How does it make the audience feel?
This should make the audience feel as if the cut is real so it gives a sense of horror and realism to the film/TV show.
It is also needed so the effects are a lot more realistic.
The cut on the finger should make the audience feel as if the person has actually cut his/her finger in the garage so they should feel a bit sick and horrified at the cut.

Risks and how to make them safe
SFX
Risk 1 : getting hit by a car because we’ll be filming and setting up equipment.
Risk 2 : something could fall from the roof of the garage and could cause injury to the persons head or body.
Risk 3 : the makeup that is used for the cut on the finger could cause an allergic reaction which could lead to swelling and a rash.
Risk 4 : you may trip and fall over something for example you could trip over the door which could lead to broken bones etc.

Risk 5: the person may have a cut on his/her finger so the skin putty could get in the cut and infect it and or the fake blood could get in the cut and infect it.
